4 Notes Over Triplets

In this exercise, all the notes are the same speed however there’s a catch – the rhythm is triplets, meaning that each beat is divided into three notes. This can get tricky when you’re playing a finger pattern that has a different number of notes than what the rhythmic group has. Pay careful attention to the accent marks (the > symbol) in the notation, as they do not fall where your brain naturally wants them to when playing a four note pattern such as this.
